Trial of the Sun Queen by Nisha Tuli ☀️ Artefacts of Ouranos (Overview, Summary, Book Review)

Trial of the Sun Queen by Canadian author Nisha Tuli is a fast-paced, fae-centric romantasy reminiscent of Throne of Glass, ACOTAR, Hunger Games, and Fourth Wing (even some Blood and Ash!). The series, Artefacts of Ouranos, will be a quartet, and at the time of this video, two of the books have been released.
The sequel book, Rule of the Aurora King, features fake-dating and the enemies to lovers tropes, and I'm finding it even better than the first book! Book 3, Fate of the Sun King, will be out June 4, 2024 and the final book, Tale of the Heart Queen, will be out November 25, 2024.

I picked this up today from the library and I'm already a quarter of the way in. I'm eating it up like candy. Knowing what the fourth book is called, I found the detail of the rose soap scent at the very beginning to be an interesting piece of foreshadowing. I really like Gabriel so far, definitely gave me Lucien vibes right away LOL.

hahahaa YES. Loved grumpy Gabriel! And totally agree on Nisha's use of foreshadowing! Reminds of the qualities I actually liked in the Blood and Ash series, and curious to see where this series goes!
